BCA Prepares to Select “Desert Diamond” Barrel Pick

The Bourbon Club of Arkansas is officially stepping into new territory with an upcoming barrel selection that’s been a long time coming. After months of anticipation, the club has been invited to select a barrel of Nevada-distilled whiskey—often described by fans as pure “liquid sunshine.”

The BCA admin team is scheduled to gather for a private tasting session to evaluate samples and determine which barrel will earn the club’s next release name: “Desert Diamond.” This selection comes directly from the distillery led by Aaron Chepenik, a well-respected name among whiskey enthusiasts and a key figure behind Nevada’s growing whiskey reputation.

This opportunity was made possible with support from Anthony Eckert and Justin Pierce, both of whom played a role in bringing this long-awaited pick to life.

While full release details will follow once the final barrel is chosen, anticipation is already running high. Nevada whiskey selections are still relatively rare in Arkansas club picks, making Desert Diamond one of the more intriguing BCA releases on the horizon.
