A first barrel pick built with Arkansas collaborators
The Third Pour is bringing its first barrel selection to the Arkansas bourbon community with help from PurSpirit Liquor and Arkansas Barrel Heads admins. The three sat down together to choose the barrel, and The Third Pour is handling the release. PurSpirit’s announcement explains that the Arkansas Collusion name recognizes the groups involved in selecting a barrel.

Arkansas Barrel Heads
ABH admins helped select the barrel and support the release. ABH says it is not handling distribution or delivery through its usual official-pick process.
PurSpirit Liquor
PurSpirit helped select and facilitate the barrel. The Fayetteville store is the announced pickup location, beginning October 30.
Ordering clarification: ABH administrator Abe Wyly clarified that this is The Third Pour’s release. ABH admins participated in the selection, but this is not an official ABH-distributed pick. Direct price, pickup and release questions to Mark DiRienzo at The Third Pour.
Another Arkansas collaboration: Dad’s After Dark and CrossRoads
The Third Pour’s debut also offers another example of an Arkansas bourbon group working with a local retailer. Earlier this year, we covered Dad’s After Dark’s Rock Town barrel pick with CrossRoads Wine & Spirits in Bryant. That collaboration paired the Arkansas-based podcast and creator group with CrossRoads and Rock Town Distillery on a 5-year-old, 134-proof single barrel, announced for a May 15 release with free bottle engraving.
