Update: Five Star Liquor Raffle Raises $11,650 for Arkansas Animal Shelters
Five Star Liquor’s Weller Millennium charity raffle has officially exceeded its original fundraising goal, raising $11,650 for rescued dogs and cats in Arkansas.
The fundraiser originally set out to raise $10,000, but support from customers, bourbon fans, and the Arkansas bourbon community helped push the total past that goal. During the live drawing, it was announced that the raffle included 466 total ticket entries.
The money raised will be divided among three animal organizations: Paws & Claws, the Humane Society of Garland County, and Hot Springs Animal Services / John Seales Animal Services Center.
During the live drawing, Madison Saulsbury was selected as the winner of the Weller Millennium bottle.
Five Star Liquor also held a separate drawing for those who purchased tickets and shared the fundraiser post. Ronnie Benton won the JD14 bottle, and Jay Gore won the Weller Antique store pick.

So this is Weller Millennium. It’s uncut, unfiltered, and this box is very, very heavy, so we had difficulties to open it. So this is a wooden box.
And we are going to use this bottle to raise some money for animal shelters, Paws and Claws, Humane Society, and Hot Springs animal shelter.
So we are selling some raffle tickets, and we’re going to do a draw on July 1st.
Arkansas Barrel Head, Bourbon Club of Arkansas, Central Arkansas Bourbon and Banter — they’re all helping us to have a successful fundraiser.
So as you see, it’s beautiful. And I hope we can find a good home for this bad boy.
