About Old Route 8

Old Route 8 pays tribute to Kentucky’s historic road that winds along the Ohio River, connecting small river towns and ports much like bourbon connects people through shared tradition. Produced and bottled by Augusta Distillery, this 8-year bourbon is crafted in the spirit of Kentucky’s best—aged to perfection, non-chill filtered, and bottled at cask strength for an authentic experience straight from the barrel.

Each barrel yields unique character, offering deep aromas of vanilla, brown sugar, and toasted oak, followed by rich layers of caramel, baking spice, and dark fruit on the palate. A lingering finish of sweet spice and oak gives this whiskey its signature “Kentucky hug.”
