LITTLE ROCK – Topping off the new year with changes, Central Arkansas Bourbon and Banter (CABB), one of the region’s premier whiskey communities, announced a significant expansion to its administration team today. In a statement released to the group, administrator Ashley Olsen introduced four new leaders, describing the update as “big news” for the local bourbon community.

The group is welcoming David Shropshire, David McMahon, Drew Fowler, and Jarod Martin to the leadership roster. Olsen described the new administrators as “rockstars,” noting that the existing team is “beyond pumped to have them join the crew.”

A “Familiar Face” and Technical Expertise

Among the new appointees is David Shropshire, a figure Olsen noted is likely already known to many members. Described as a “familiar face across the Arkansas bourbon community,” Shropshire’s involvement extends beyond local meetups. Olsen highlighted that he has “even made appearances on several YouTube channels,” noting simply: “The man stays busy!”

Also joining the team is David McMahon, who is recognized for bringing his “own brand of passion and knowledge to the table.” Olsen praised McMahon’s character, calling him “one of the most generous guys around.”

“He’s all about sharing good whiskey with good friends,” Olsen wrote, adding that McMahon is often the “first to jump in and help—especially if it involves anything tech-related.”

Good Vibes and “Legendary Cheesecakes”

The announcement highlighted the personal connections and unique talents the new admins bring to the group. Drew Fowler was described as “one of the easiest guys to hang out with, especially if there’s whiskey involved.”

Olsen recounted first meeting Fowler after posting an open invite to Rock Town Distillery. “He showed up, and honestly, he’s been showing up ever since,” she stated. Perhaps most intriguingly for members, Fowler brings culinary skills to the mix. Olsen urged members not to miss out on Fowler’s “legendary cheesecakes,” noting that he adds bourbon to his sauces to make them “next-level delicious.”

Rounding out the new team is Jarod Martin, who was praised for bringing “pure enthusiasm to everything he does.”

“He loves learning, sharing whiskey news, cheering on new members, and spreading good vibes,” Olsen wrote. “His energy is contagious, and he’s going to be incredible in this new role.”

Looking Ahead

The expansion of the admin team signals a strong start for the group’s future activities.

“We’re heading into the new year with momentum, excitement, and one heck of a team,” Olsen concluded. “I know I’m excited to see what CABB accomplishes next.”
