📰 Event Update — November 19, 2022

During the second day of the Benevolent Barrel Thief’s Arkansas Foodbank raffle, Alan Myers shared a progress update highlighting strong early momentum for the charity drive.

**“We’re officially 24 hours into our raffle and things are heating up. We’ve raised $1,175 so far, putting us almost halfway to our $2,500 goal. We have to hit that goal to unlock the special bottle raffle for those who donate $100 or more.

We currently have 45 private bottles of Four Roses OESO available, and only 15 people have donated so far. No donation is too small — every $10 helps those in need this holiday season. Please make sure you post a screenshot of your donation receipt on the official raffle post so your entry is counted.”**

📰 Event Update — November 20, 2022

As the Benevolent Barrel Thief’s Arkansas Foodbank raffle continued to gain momentum, Alan Myers announced the release of the event’s special bonus bottle tied to higher-tier donations.

**“Here it is, folks. Batch 9 Colonel E.H. Taylor Barrel Proof is the special bottle that will be raffled off to one lucky person who donates at least $100 to our Arkansas Foodbank raffle.

We are only $600 short of our $2,500 goal, and we can still hit it by tomorrow evening. No donation is too small, and we’ve gained a ton of new members today — $10 gets you a raffle ticket, with unlimited tickets authorized.

Once again, a big thank you to 107 Liquor for the Four Roses bottles that were privately selected. Please ensure you read the entire raffle event post and screenshot your donation there.”**

📰 Event Update — November 20, 2022

As the Benevolent Barrel Thief’s Arkansas Foodbank raffle reached the halfway point, Alan Myers shared another progress update highlighting strong donor participation and continued momentum toward the fundraising goal.

**“We are 48 hours into our raffle and things are on fire. We’ve raised $1,700 so far, putting us over halfway to our $2,500 goal. We still need to hit that goal to unlock the special bottle raffle for those who donate $100 or more, and I will be posting a picture of the special bottle later tonight.

Thank you to everyone who has already donated. For those who haven’t yet, we encourage you to consider participating. We currently have 45 private bottles of Four Roses OESO available, with 23 donors so far — the odds are very much in play.

No donation is too small. Every $10 helps those in need this holiday season. Please ensure you post a screenshot of your donation receipt on the official raffle post so your entry is counted.”**

📰 Event Update — November 21, 2022

As the Benevolent Barrel Thief’s Arkansas Foodbank raffle entered its final day, Tyler Shinabery announced a surprise pop-up raffle designed to boost last-minute donations before the event closed.

**“Pop-Up Raffle Bottle. The prize is the Takara Black Japanese Release. Each $20 donated from now — 9:00 AM CST on November 21, 2022 — through event closing at 9:00 PM CST equals one ticket into a sub-raffle. Multiple entries are allowed in $20 increments.

At least ten members must donate a qualifying amount for the pop-up raffle to activate. All donations should continue to be posted in the main raffle thread.

We’re loving the initial push here — let’s pump these numbers up on the home stretch. Cheers, BBTS.”**

The pop-up raffle introduced an additional incentive during the final hours of the event, encouraging continued participation while maintaining the primary raffle structure and donation verification process.

📰 Event Update — November 21, 2022

As the Benevolent Barrel Thief’s Arkansas Foodbank raffle entered its final hours, Tyler Shinabery issued a comprehensive summary outlining how donations translated into raffle eligibility across multiple prize tiers.

**“It’s the final push on our inaugural event. Here’s a quick summary of what your donation gets you.

Every $10 donated during the entire event qualifies for one ticket toward the Four Roses barrel. The purchase price post-event/randomizer will be $90 per bottle. We recognize this is an expensive bottle to start — if you’d like to donate but do not wish to purchase, simply note ‘No tickets’ with your screenshot.

Every $20 donated between 9:00 AM and 9:00 PM today qualifies for one ticket into the pop-up raffle for Takara Black. We are also sweetening the pot with a free Four Roses bottle. A minimum of ten qualifying donors is required to activate this raffle.

Every $100 donated — whether as a single contribution or split between earlier and pop-up donation windows — earns one ticket into the Colonel E.H. Taylor Barrel Proof raffle. This raffle requires reaching the $2,500 fundraising goal to activate.

Unofficially, we are around $2,100 right now. Let’s get to $2,500 and unlock all prizes by 9:00 PM CST tonight. Thank you to everyone who has generously donated so far.”**
Tyler Shinabery, Benevolent Barrel Thief (November 21, 2022)

At the time of the update, the fundraiser was approaching its stated goal, with multiple conditional raffles dependent on final donation totals before the event’s scheduled close.

📰 Event Update — November 21, 2022

As the Benevolent Barrel Thief’s Arkansas Foodbank raffle entered its final hour, Alan Myers announced that the fundraising goal had been surpassed, signaling a strong finish to the group’s inaugural charitable effort.

Tyler Shinabery and I are incredibly thankful to everyone who has donated. Giving back is our ultimate goal, and we’re grateful to also be able to make sure there’s some great bourbon and whiskey to go around as well.”**
