LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — The Bourbon Club of Arkansas (BCA) has been named “Whiskey Club of the Year” for 2025 by the ASCOT Awards — marking back-to-back wins for the Arkansas group.

BCA’s repeat win puts an Arkansas club on a national stage twice in a row, recognizing the group’s community impact, education efforts, and high-caliber barrel selections. In 2024 BCA also took the ASCOT “Whiskey Club of the Year” honor, setting up this year’s two-peat.
The ASCOT Awards spotlighted BCA’s active year of standout club bottlings and tastings, including entries that advanced deep into ASCOT’s single-barrel competition. BCA picks appeared among 2025 Best-in-Category contenders such as Elijah Craig “The Deastsville Stikes Back” and Elliot Brothers 10 Year Reserve, underscoring the club’s palate and curation.
Founded by spirits author and critic Fred Minnick, ASCOT is an international competition judged by a council of tasters across both Taste and Marketing & Design tracks. Results culminate in category champions and “Best in Show” winners each year.
For a second straight year, an Arkansas-based club is being held up as a model for education, community, and exceptional barrel picks — a major nod to the state’s fast-growing whiskey culture and the enthusiasts who fuel it.
ASCOT published its 2025 championship results and “Best in Show” winners on June 24, 2025. The ASCOT homepage “Best of 2025” winners section lists Whiskey Club of the Year and links directly to Bourbon Club of Arkansas as the winner, which aligns with the June 24 roll-up of winners.
