Release Date: On or about February 6, 2025
Location: 107 Liquor, Arkansas
Whiskey: Jack Daniel’s Single Barrel Rye, Barrel Proof
107 Liquor’s early-year single barrel release featured one of Tennessee’s most beloved distilleries — Jack Daniel’s. This release showcased a Single Barrel Rye bottled at Barrel Proof, offering whiskey fans an unfiltered experience of the brand’s signature rye mashbill.
Jack Daniel’s Barrel Proof Rye delivers the full character of the whiskey straight from the barrel, typically ranging between 125 and 145 proof depending on the individual cask. Each bottle is drawn from a single barrel aged in the upper levels of Jack Daniel’s Lynchburg rickhouses, where the whiskey develops rich color, depth, and spice.
Unlike Jack Daniel’s standard Old No. 7 or Gentleman Jack, this rye follows a 70% rye, 18% corn, and 12% malted barley mashbill, resulting in a bold, peppery profile balanced by notes of vanilla, caramel, and toasted oak. The barrel proof presentation allows drinkers to experience the whiskey as the master tasters do before dilution — intense, complex, and authentically crafted.
Jack Daniel’s began producing rye whiskey in 2012, expanding its historic Tennessee whiskey portfolio. The Single Barrel Barrel Proof Rye joined the permanent lineup in 2020, quickly earning a reputation among enthusiasts as one of the best barrel strength ryes available from a major American distillery.
This particular single barrel, selected by 107 Liquor, offered Arkansas whiskey fans a chance to taste Jack Daniel’s at its most powerful and expressive form — straight from the barrel, uncut and unfiltered.
Founded in 1866, Jack Daniel’s is America’s oldest registered distillery and the birthplace of Tennessee Whiskey. It continues to craft spirits using the Lincoln County Process, mellowing the whiskey drop by drop through sugar maple charcoal before barrel aging. The distillery remains one of the most visited in the world, drawing thousands of whiskey enthusiasts to Lynchburg each year.
