The Bourbon Club of Arkansas (BCA) has officially announced one of its most ambitious and premium barrel selections to date: a 10-year, barrel-proof single barrel from Elliot Brothers, sourced from Heaven Hill and finished in toasted French oak Malbec wine casks.
This release represents a milestone for the club—not only in age and finishing technique, but also in overall investment. While BCA is known for delivering exceptional value in the sub-$100 range, this one-time selection pushed beyond that threshold for a reason: the whiskey was simply too good to pass up.

According to BCA leadership, the barrel was sampled at 10 years old and immediately secured after tasting. The result is a deeply layered, full-proof bourbon with rich color, bold structure, and a dessert-leaning profile that stood out even among seasoned selections.
Despite being a premium release, Ace Liquor worked with the club to reduce pricing for members—bringing the bottle well below typical market cost for a finished, 10-year, barrel-proof bourbon of this caliber.

This release is expected to move quickly once opened beyond BCA, particularly given the age, finish, and adjusted pricing.
Elliot Brothers is a modern whiskey brand built around selectively sourcing mature Kentucky bourbon and elevating it through thoughtful finishing and blending techniques. Rather than distilling in-house, the brand focuses on transparency, barrel selection, and secondary maturation—often incorporating wine or specialty casks to add depth and complexity without overpowering the base spirit.
By working with established distilleries such as Heaven Hill and applying controlled finishing programs, Elliot Brothers has carved out a reputation for producing limited, high-impact releases aimed at experienced bourbon drinkers seeking something distinctive.
This BCA selection marks one of the brand’s older and more ambitious finished bourbon releases to reach Arkansas.
