When BCA selected this barrel almost two years ago, it legally qualified as an A\u00f1ejo Tequila<\/strong>, meaning it had between 1 and 3 years<\/strong> of barrel aging.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, because the release was delayed and the tequila continued resting in its Buffalo Trace barrel, it now exceeds three full years of aging<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    In a Facebook post dated September 24, 2021<\/strong>, Bourbon Club of Arkansas (BCA) outlined the early plan behind this release as part of a Buffalo Trace barrel pick. The post noted that demand would exceed supply and that bottles would be allocated via a randomizer (one entry per household), with the bottle price set at $45<\/strong> and $15 from each bottle supporting two charities<\/strong>: the Arkansas Army National Guard Association<\/strong> and the Arkansas Air National Guard Association<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
